Victoria Falls’ Devil’s pool

I found out today something that really shocked me – and made me thinking to visit the Victoria Falls, considered one of the Seven natural wonders of the World. The waterfall itself is already amazing: more than 100 mt. high, they are one of the largest falls in the World, located in southern Africa on the Zambezi Riverbetween the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The most amazing thing, however, is the fact that, during the months with less rain, usually in September and December, water is a safe level, so that people can swim close the edge of the falls without danger; this is allowed thanks to a natural rock wall that creates a safe pool – named Devil’s Pool - where swimmer can safely stay in despite the current.
